Army Selected Sixth in Atlantic Hockey Preseason Coaches' Poll

WINTRHOP, Mass. - Army West Point hockey has been selected sixth in the Atlantic Hockey preseason coaches' poll, announced today.
The Black Knights are coming off the 2021-22 season which saw them finish third in the Atlantic Hockey regular season standings, with a (12-11-3) mark in conference play.Â
Senior captain Anthony Firriolo and junior goaltender Gavin Abric received votes for the Preseason All-Atlantic team, with Abric landing a vote for Preseason Player of the Year. The Black Knights return to action at home on Sunday, Oct. 2 at 4 p.m., taking on Union College at Tate Rink.

About Atlantic Hockey
The Atlantic Hockey Association will mark its 20th season of competition in 2022-23. The 10-team NCAA Division I conference consists of, American International College (Yellow Jackets), Bentley University (Falcons), Canisius College (Golden Griffins), The College of the Holy Cross (Crusaders), Mercyhurst University (Lakers), Niagara University (Purple Eagles), Rochester Institute of Technology (Tigers), Sacred Heart University (Pioneers), the United States Air Force Academy (Falcons) and the United States Military Academy (Black Knights).
