Nick Atkinson Named to Top Drawer Soccer Team of the Week

WEST POINT, NY – Army West Point men's soccer junior Nick Atkinson has been named to Top Drawer Soccer's Team of the Week, announced on Tuesday.Â
Atkinson has been a key part of Army's recent success, helping anchor a backline that has allowed just one goal across the past three contests. Atkinson has played a full 90 minutes in all three games, scoring the game-winning goal against Florida Atlantic before his opening goal against Seton Hall. His three goals lead the Black Knights this season, as he was named Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week on Monday for his efforts.Â
The Black Knights open up Patriot League play this upcoming Saturday, Sept. 18 at 7 p.m. when they take on defending Patriot League champion Loyola Maryland.Â
