Men's Soccer Selected Sixth in Patriot League Preseason Poll

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Army West Point men's soccer has been selected sixth in the 2022 Patriot League Preseason Poll announced on Wednesday.
Army enters the new campaign coming off the 2021 season which saw the Black Knights advance to a Patriot League Championship semifinal for the first time since 2018. The Black Knights fell to the eventual Patriot League Champion Loyola Maryland on penalty kicks after knocking off third-seeded Holy Cross in a quarterfinal bout.
The Black Knights open the season with a pair of road games at Michigan State (August 26, 7 p.m.) and Fairleigh Dickinson (August 29, 7:00 p.m.) before the home opener versus Cleveland State on September 2 at 6:00 p.m. at Malek Stadium. The Patriot League campaign will kick off on September 17 when Army plays host to Loyola Maryland at 7:00 p.m.
