Gibson Named Patriot League Field Athlete Of The Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – For the third consecutive week, Jamir Gibson has been selected as the Patriot League Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week announced on Tuesday.
Gibson, who was the lone competitor representing the Black Knights at the Penn Relays, finished third in the discus throw after his last heave landed 59.04 meters. The toss set a program and service academy record while ranking first in the league and 15th in the nation. Gibson now holds the service academy record in the indoor shot, indoor weight, and the discus.
The Black Knights will compete in the 2022 Patriot League Outdoor Championships in Annapolis, Md. from May 6-7
