Baseball Adds Game at Columbia

WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Army West Point baseball team has added a game to its schedule and will face off against the Columbia Lions for the second time this season on Sunday, May 29. First pitch at Robertson Field is scheduled for 1 p.m.Â
The contest will feature a pair of conference champions, as the Black Knights recently won their fourth-straight Patriot League title while the Lions captured the Ivy League crown. Both teams will learn of their regional seeding and placement during the NCAA Selection Show at 12 p.m. on Monday, May 30.Â
Columbia made a midweek trip to Johnson Stadium earlier this season and earned a 9-4 victory. Cam Cerruto recorded a game-high two RBI in the clash, while Derek Berg and Sam Ruta chipped in a pair of hits apiece.Â
