Four Black Knights Earn All-ECAC Honors

DANBURY, Conn. --- Four members of Army West Point Men's Gymnastics have been named to the All-ECAC Teams, as announced by the conference.
Mathew Davis led Army with three First Team selections on rings, parallel bars and all around. Jacob Nauman picked up First Team honors on vault, Zachary Mitchell earned First Team parallel bars while Joseph Buselmeier earned first team honors in the all-around.
In recognition of their stellar season the top six gymnasts in each event were recognized as All-ECAC. Categories with more than six athletes listed are due to ties. The teams are based off their finish in the ECAC Championship at William & Mary held on April 2.

This is the third season that Davis has earned All-ECAC nods. The Firstie had a strong performance at the ECAC Championship placing third in the all-around with a score of 78.400. He garnered third place on the rings after scoring a season-best 14.000 on the event. He recorded a 13.800 on parallel bars to earn fourth place.

Nauman earned All-ECAC honors on vault for the second time in his career. He recorded a team-high 14.050 on the event. Mitchell garnered All-ECAC for the first time in his collegiate career after placing sixth on vault with a score of 13.750. Joseph Buselmeier collected the honors in the all-around by placing in the top sixth with a score of 74.250.
