Davis Named CGA Regular Season All-American

WEST POINT, N.Y. --- After a stellar regular season campaign, Mathew Davis of Army West Point Men's Gymnastics has been named a College Gymnastics Association Regular Season All-American in the all-around, as announced by the committee on Thursday afternoon.
This is the second time Davis has earned the honor with his first CGA Regular Season All-American nod coming in the 2020 season for her performance on the floor exercise. CGA began the Regular Season All-American awards in the 2020 season due to COVID-19.
The Frisco, Texas native competed in the all-around eight times this season for the Black Knights, posting a season-best 80.100 at the All-Academy Championship. This season he placed 20th in the all-around, with a combined score of 152.071, at the 2022 Winter Cup while claiming sixth place on the floor exercise. He was named a finalist for the CGA MVP award and the Nissen-Emery Award.
