Gibson Named Patriot League Indoor Field Athlete of the Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Jamir Gibson has been named Patriot League Indoor Field Athlete of the Week for the fourth time in five weeks announced on Tuesday.\
Gibson displayed another record-setting outing as the Black Knights competed against Navy in the annual Star Meet, presented by USAA.
He won the weight throw (21.20m) to help give Army an early lead, and later won the shot put (17.93m). He broke the meet, program, Patriot League and service academy record in the weight throw; it is also the 19th-best mark in NCAA Division I.
The Black Knights head to Boston to compete in the David Hemery Valentine Invite on February 11-12.
