Davis Named ECAC Gymnast of the Week

DANBURY, Conn. --- Mathew Davis of Army West Point Men's Gymnastics has been named Eastern College Athletic Conference Gymnast of the Week for the second consecutive week, as announced by the committee on Wednesday afternoon.Â
This is the third time this season that the senior has earned the honor. Davis had a stellar weekend, winning the all-around with a score of 78.150 against #5 Ohio State and William & Mary. The Firstie also claimed the top sport on floor exercise with 13.750. He led the Black Knights' on the pommel horse, vault, and horizontal bar as well, helping Army pick up the team win over William & Mary.Â
