Davis Crowned ECAC Gymnast of the Week

DANBURY, Conn. --- For the second time this season Mathew Davis of Army West Point Men's Gymnastics has been crowned the Eastern College Athletic Conference Gymnast of the Week, as announced by the committee on Wednesday morning.

The Frisco, Texas native earned the honor after his dominant performance at the All-Academy Championship leading Army on five of the six events.

Davis won the all-around at the meet with a season-high score of 80.100. The Firstie won gold on the rings and vault with scores of 13.750 and 14.300, respectively. Davis earned second on the floor exercise with a season-best of 14.100 on the event.
