Woodman Named Patriot League Men’s Tennis Player of the Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – A.J. Woodman has been named Patriot League Men's Tennis Player of the Week announced on Tuesday.
Woodman went 2-0 in doubles and won in No. 1 singles as the Black Knights won matches against NJIT, Binghamton, and Georgetown to extend their win streak to eight matches. Woodman and doubles partner Jake Huarte playing in two doubles won their match against Binghamton, 6-2, and edged their counterpart at Georgetown, 7-6. Woodman won a three-set battle in No. 1 singles in the Georgetown match, 7-6, 1-6, 7-6(5).
The Black Knights fly south to Orlando for matches against Bryant on Friday, February 18 and versus Air Force on Saturday, February 19 at the USTA National Campus. The match versus Air Force is part of the USTA College MatchDay with the match being streamed live on the TennisONE app.
