Manolakis Headlines West Point Open Event Finals

WEST POINT, N.Y. --- Seven Cadets represented Army West Point Men's Gymnastics in the west Point Open event finals with Steven Manolakis headlining with floor exercise title on Saturday night in Christl Arena.

Manolakis led with a score of 13.400 on floor to claim first and scored a 13.800 on vault to earn seventh place for the Black Knights. Jacob Nauman also represented Army on vault and recorded a 13.500.

Mathew Davis claimed fourth place on the rings with a score of 13.400, while Joseph Buselmeier tied for sixth place with a score of 13.000. Davis earned a spot in the top six on parallel bars with a score of 12.200. Buselmeier recorded a 11.450 while Zachary Mitchell earned a 11.850.

Gabe Almeida was strong on the pommel horse scoring a 12.250 to earn fifth place in the event. Zachary Perez represented the Cadets on high bar and tied for fifth place with a score of 13.200.
