Bender Named Patriot League Male Rookie Runner of the Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Freshman Caleb Bender has been named the Patriot League Male Rookie Runner of the Week announced on Tuesday.

Bender helped the Black Knights to a first-place finish at the Army Open (7.6 kilometers) on September 17. In a meet where the underclassmen shine, Bender finished in first place with a time of 24:35.6 in his second collegiate race.

The Black Knights head to Boston to participate in the Coast-To-Coast Battle In Beantown at Franklin Park on September 24 at 3:30 p.m.
