Men’s Cross Country Moves Up A Spot In Regional Ranking

NEW ORLEANS – The Army West Point cross country team is ranked 13th in the latest 2021 NCAA Division I Men's Cross Country Northeast Regional Ranking announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Monday.
The Black Knights started the 2021 season with a win (17-46) over the Maine Black Bears in Orono, Maine on September 3. Army posted four of the top five finishers, led by Marshall Beatty who finished first with a time of 25:12.61. Thomas Vo followed with a time of 25:26.71 and Garrett Gough placed third (25:27.33). Matthew Porter rounded out the top five with a time of 25:36.90.
Army is back in action on September 17 to host the Army Open in Wappinger Falls, N.Y.
