Hockey Lands Three on AHCA All-American Scholar List

WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Army West Point hockey team placed three members of the 2020-21 team on the AHCA - Krampade All-American Scholar list on Monday. To be included, a student-athlete must record a GPA of 3.6 or higher in each semester. This season, 532 D1 men's hockey players earned the honor.Â
The three Black Knights represented on the list included:Â
John Zimmerman - Sr. - Systems EngineeringÂ
Marshal Plunkett - Jr. - Law & Legal StudiesÂ
Jake Felker - Fr. - UndeclaredÂ
The American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) recognizes varsity ice hockey players who compiled exceptional results in the classroom during the 2020-21 season with the announcement of the fifth annual "Krampade All-American Scholars." Due to the effects of Covid-19, the AHCA adopted revised criteria for this year's honorees. To qualify, a student-athlete must have attained a 3.6 GPA for each semester, regardless of whether the school's hockey team was able to play this season or not.Â
