May 20, 2021 | Baseball
WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point baseball team has been well-represented through the start of the 2021 minor league baseball season, as three former players have made appearances for their organizations. Catcher Jon Rosoff is on the Double-A roster for the Detroit Tigers, while both outfielder Jacob Hurtubise and left-handed pitcher Cam Opp are playing High-A for the Cincinnati Reds and the New York Mets, respectively.
Â
Each member of the trio will strive to join former Army West Point pitching star and 2013 graduate Chris Rowley, who is currently the program's only alum to have made an MLB appearance.
