Davis Named Nominee for CGA MVP Award

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point junior gymnast Mathew Davis was tabbed a nominee for the College Gymnastics Association's Most Valuable Player. Davis is one of 12 gymnasts in the nation up for the honor.
The Frisco, Texas, native had Army's highest scores of the season in floor exercise (13.85), still rings (13.9) and parallel bars (13.55). He was recently one of 15 members of the Black Knights to qualify for the NCAA Championship meet and was Army's sole all-around representative.
The Black Knights individual qualifiers will compete in the NCAA Championship meet in Minneapolis on April 16-17.
