Army Tops Loyola in Patriot League Tournament First Round

BETHLEHEM, PA. – The No. 2 seed Army West Point men's tennis team defeated the No. 7 seed Loyola Greyhounds in the first round of Patriot League playoffs by a score of 4-0 Friday afternoon.

The Black Knights got off to a good start on the day dominating doubles, as A.J Woodman, Thomas Lake, Diego Huttepain and Samuel Eden took down their opponents to put West Point on the board.

Woodman carried this momentum over into singles, defeating Glezer in two bouts. He was followed by strong performances from David Gorshein and Jake Huarte who took down their respective opponents in two sets as well.
