Men's Rugby Victorious on Senior Day

WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Army West Point men's rugby team scored early and often Saturday at the Anderson Rugby Complex, as the Black Knights took down Service-Academy rival Air Force, 61-12.
It was the first home game since October 2019 for Army (4-0). The Black Knights also celebrated their Firsties in a pregame ceremony.
Once play began, the Black and Gold used six first half tries to give Army a comfortable 40-0 lead at the break.
David Mitchell, Koikoi Nelligan, Luke Ensing, Jonny Haley, Parker Ross, and Chamberlin Liddell-Patacsil each scored in the opening half. Scharl du Toit also chipped in five conversions.
Army kept its foot on the gas in the second half, as Ross and Liddell-Patacsil each scored their second tries. Du Toit added two more conversions, and the Black Knights would also add a penalty try late in the game. Matt De Frates would complete the scoring with the final conversion of the game.
