Mitchell, Kingshill Earn Weekly ECAC Awards

WEST POINT, N.Y. -- The Army West Point men's gymnastics team had a pair of members take home ECAC weekly awards. Zachary Mitchell was tabbed the league's specialist of the week, while Kalvin Kingshill was the rookie of the week.

Mitchell had his best competition of the season this past weekend for the Black Knights. He was Army's top score on parallel bars and horizontal bar, with season high scores on both events. Mitchell was also West Point's second highest score on pommel horse and posted a score just shy of his season high.

Kingshill continued making an impact for West Point this past weekend versus Stanford, nailing both floor exercise and horizontal bar routines capped with stuck dismounts each. He was Army's top score on floor and scored a career and season high on horizontal bar. Kalvin's 13.05 was also the top score by a rookie on floor exercise in the ECAC this past weekend.
