Army Athletics Announces Schedule Changes

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point Athletics announced schedule adjustments for its men's soccer, women's soccer, volleyball and men's and women's swimming and diving teams Wednesday afternoon.

The Army men's soccer game at Colgate initially scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 27, in Hamilton, N.Y., has been postponed due to a positive COVID-19 test within Army's Tier 1.

Army women's soccer's game vs. Colgate, which was scheduled for 4 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 26 at West Point has been postponed due to a positive COVID-19 test within Army's Tier 1.

Army volleyball's matches against Navy, initially scheduled for Friday, Feb. 26 and Sunday, Feb. 28. The Black Knights matches versus Holy Cross on Friday, March 5 and Sunday, March 7 have also been postponed due to a positive COVID-19 test within Army's Tier 1.

Rescheduling of games will be announced at a later date.
NCAA TIER 1 DEFINITION: Tier 1 is the highest exposure tier and consists of individuals for whom physical distancing and face coverings are not possible or effective during athletic training or competition. Examples of relevant individuals include student-athletes, coaches, athletic trainers, physical therapists, medical staff, equipment staff and officials.
