Women's Basketball Weekend Series with Navy and Holy Cross Canceled

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Patriot League women's basketball contests between Army West Point and Navy originally scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 20 and Sunday, Feb. 21 in Annapolis, Md., have been canceled due to a positive COVID-19 test within the Army women's basketball program's Tier 1.
The Army West Point women's basketball games against Holy Cross on Saturday, Feb. 27 and Sunday, Feb. 28 have also been canceled.
NCAA TIER 1 DEFINITION: Tier 1 is the highest exposure tier and consists of individuals for whom physical distancing and face coverings are not possible or effective during athletic training or competition. Examples of relevant individuals include student-athletes, coaches, athletic trainers, physical therapists, medical staff, equipment staff and officials.
