Davis Named ECAC Gymnast of the Week For Third Straight Week

WEST POINT, N.Y. – For third time in as many weeks Mathew Davis, a junior on the Army West Point men's gymnastics team, was tabbed the ECAC Gymnast of the Week.

Davis earned three first place finishes in the All-Academy meet last Saturday. The Frisco, Texas, native claimed first in the still rings with a score of 13.6, which was .5 points higher than second place. He won parallel bars as well with a tally of 13.55, which was .55 than second place. Additionally, he took first with an all-around score of 77.2.

The Black Knights return to action at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 20 when it takes on Springfield in a virtual meet.
