Sabria Hunter Named Patriot League Player of the Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Army West Point junior forward Sabria Hunter was tabbed the Patriot League Player of the Week after her strong performance on the court for the Black Knights.

Hunter finished the week with two doubles-doubles against LIU and Rider, securing her third and fourth double-doubles of the season.
The junior record a season-best of 24 points and 14 rebounds in the win over LIU to open December play. Hunter racked up three assists, one block and one steal against the Sharks as well. She followed with 17 points and 14 rebounds in the battle against Rider on Saturday afternoon. The forward added on two steals and one assist as well for the Black Knights.

After seven games, Hunter is averaging 14.1 points per game and is shooting 50 percent from the floor. She is second in the Patriot League for rebounding averaging 9.9 a game. The Austintown, Ohio native now sits at seven career double-doubles and has finished five games in double-digit scoring figures.
