Women's Tennis Hosts Annual Awards Banquet

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point women's tennis team hosted their annual end of season banquet Saturday afternoon, this year in unconventional fashion. In a season where the Black Knights lost their entire conference lineup, the team was eager to reconnect and share in each other's company, even if that meant through a computer screen.
The Black Knights were cruising through the 2020 portion of their season, having amassed a 13-4 record more than halfway through their schedule. Not only did the team commemorate their time together but also honored their two seniors and distributed a number of team awards.
Each of the following awards was voted on by the team.
Most Valuable Player: Stephanie Dolehide
Most Improved: Paola Bou
MVP Doubles Team: Stephanie Dolehide and Caroline Vincent
Most Improved Doubles Player: Sophie McKenzie
Hardest Worker: Ana Joyner
Unsung Hero: Hannah Boubel
Rookie of the Year: Elizabeth Gilbert
Manager of the Year: Seungnak Shin
