Davis, Scott Claim ECAC Weekly Honors

DANBURY, Conn. - Following Army's home victory over service academy rival Air Force, Mathew Davis and Rex Scott received recognition from the ECAC with league weekly honors.Â
Mathew Davis posted career highs on floor exercise (14.500) and parallel bars (14.450) en route to being named ECAC Gymnast of the Week. It has been a year of accolades for the sophomore, as this marks the third time this season he has received the top weekly honor from the ECAC.Â
Rex Scott posted the meet's best score on vault, recording a career best 14.300. The performance earned him ECAC Specialist of the Week recognition. It marks the third week in a row in which a Cadet has claimed the honor, as Jacob Nauman and Erik Del Cid were recognized in each of the past two weeks.Â
Army will be back in their home facility this weekend when the team hosts William and Mary on Saturday.Â
