Men’s Tennis Defeats St. Bonaventure, 6-0

WEST POINT, N.Y. –Army men's tennis picked up a 6-0 victory over St. Bonaventure on Saturday afternoon. The Black Knights won all three doubles matches and all five singles matches (one match did not finish).

In doubles action, Nikita Larichev and Thomas Lake earned a 6-4 win in the No. 1 matchup. In the No. 2 pairing, Diego Huttepain and Nathan Jose cruised to a 6-1 win. Samuel Eden and David Gorshein had no problem at No. 3, earning a 6-2 win.

With Army leading 1-0, the match moved on to singles action. Lake was featured in the No. 2 matchup and earned a 6-3, 6-0 win. Gorshein coasted to a 6-1, 6-2 win in the No. 3 pairing, while Alejandro Quinos defeated John Rutkowski in the No. 4 bout, 6-1, 6-3. Anant Mundra won his match for Army, 6-1, 6-2, while Sam Kesti closed things out with a 6-2, 7-5 win in the No. 6 matchup.
