Black Knights Fall on the Road to Lehigh

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Army West Point women's basketball team fell to Lehigh, 89-72, Saturday afternoon at Stabler Arena.
Lindsey Scamman led the Black Knights with 17 points on 5-of-8 shooting from the field. Sarah Bohn also reached double-digit scoring with 15 points on 6-of-10 shooting from the field and 3-of-6 from beyond-the-arc. As a team, Army shot 9-of-18 from 3-point range.
Camryn Buhr dropped 36 points for Lehigh and added 13 boards for a double-double. Buhr was 13-for-21 from the floor, including 4-of-7 from deep. Emma Grothaus also had a big day for the Mountain Hawks, finishing with 26 points.

ARMY NOTES AND HIGHLIGHTS
- This marked Scamman's 17th double-digit scoring game of the season and was the 20th of her career.
- Bohn has now registered double-figure points in eight games this season.
- Kamryn Hall had a career high six assists, which surpassed her previous high of five.
- As a team, the Black Knights have shot 40 percent or higher from 3-point range in five Patriot League games.
- The all-time series with Lehigh is now tied at 35-35.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Lehigh used an early 11-0 run to create some separation in the first quarter. Grothaus (12 points) and Buhr (9) shined in the first quarter, as the Mountain Hawks claimed a 26-8 lead through the first 10 minutes of play.
- Army came storming back in the second quarter with a 22-4 run, which cut Lehigh's lead to just four with 11 seconds remaining in the opening half. Though, Hannah Hedstrom connected on a bucket before the half expired to put Lehigh ahead 40-34 at the break.
- Bohn was a central piece in Army's second quarter surge, as the sophomore scored eight points and was a perfect 3-of-3 from the floor. Additionally, four of Hall's six assists came in the second quarter.
- Lehigh opened up the third quarter strong and worked its cushion back up to double digits. Army was able to cut the Mountain Hawks' lead to seven at multiple points in the third after that, but Lehigh held the 63-50 lead three quarters of play.
- The Mountain Hawks were able to maintain their double-digit lead for the remainder of the contest.
