WEST POINT, N.Y. – Sophomore Sarah Bohn of Army West Point women's basketball and juniors Clayton Hanson of rifle and Alex King of men's basketball were named the Corps Squad Scholar Athletes of the Month for January.

- Bohn earned 3.799 grade-point average during the recent fall term.Â
- She currently maintains a 3.674 CQPA as an Organizational Psychology and Leadership major with a minor in Latin American Regional Studies.Â
- Bohn maintains the highest CQPA on the women's basketball team and has made the Dean's List every semester since arriving at West Point.Â
- Among 33 cadets enrolled in PL383, Social Psychology, she stood out by having achieved the highest grade in the course.Â
- Her professor commented that "not only did she master the course objectives, but she also routinely and expertly applied course concepts to her personal life experiences."Â
- A separate instructor during the fall term wrote, "Sarah was a fantastic student to have in class. She was always engaged with the material and often asked great stretch questions that contributed to every cadets' learning."Â
- On the court, Bohn currently leads the team in minutes per game (35.4), 3-pointers made (33), and 3-point field goal percentage (.397).
- Over the past three months, the Broadview Heights, Ohio, native has set career highs in seven statistical categories including: points, minutes, field goals made, field goals attempted, 3-pointers made, rebounds, and steals.
- During the month of Januar, Bohn shot 43.6 percent from 3-point range and was a solid court presence in the team's first Patriot League win of the season against Holy Cross.
- Serving on the team's leadership council, her consistency on and off the court has been a true asset to a young team this season.
- As a sophomore, Bohn currently serves as a team leader and Public Affairs NCO in Company F-4.
CLAYTON HANSON

- Hanson is serving this semester as a platoon sergeant in Company B-4.Â
- As a mechanical engineering major, he is carrying a 3.17 GPA.Â
- He is one of the team captains and last year qualified for the NCAA finals in Air Rifle.Â
- He is a consistent leader on team and led the team in smallbore last week with a score of 582 against No. 3 Kentucky.
ALEX KING

- King is a three-year starter who currently averages 8.6 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.0 steal, and 0.5 blocks per game.Â
- He has started every game during his junior season.Â
- King is one of the team's best inside and wing defenders as he often draws the assignment to guard the other team's best player.Â
- In the classroom, King excels and has been on the Dean's List every semester at West Point since his plebe year.Â
- As a management major, he earned a 3.41 GPA this past fall semester.Â
