Black Knights Drop Patriot League Road Contest to Bucknell

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Army West Point women's basketball team fell to Bucknell, which currently sits atop the Patriot League standings,77-46, Wednesday evening.

The Black Knights had a trio of scorers in double-digits led by Lindsey Scamman's 14 points. Scamman was 5-of-9 from the floor and added six rebounds on the night. Alisa Fallon finished with 11 points, while Natalie Stralkus provided 10 points off the bench.

The Bison shot an impressive 48 percent from 3-point range on 12-of-25 shooting. Ellie Mack led all scorers with 18 points and was 3-of-4 from beyond-the-arc. Mack was one of four Bucknell player to score in double-figures, with Abby Kapp (12), Ally Johnson (11) and Taylor O'Brien (11) each hitting double-digits as well.

- This represented Fallon's 14th game this season, which she's finished with double-figure scoring.
- Stralkus' 10 points came in just 12 minutes of play.
- The sophomore from East Brunswick, N.J., was shot 4-of-9 from the field.
- Bucknell now leads the all-time series 41-25.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Bucknell used a 10-0 run in the first quarter to create some early separation, but Army responded with a 7-1 run fueled by five points from Fallon to cut the Bison's lead to 11-16 just under a minute into the second quarter.
- For the remainder of the second stanza, Bucknell seemingly could not miss from 3-point range. The Bison shot 6-of-9 from long range to push ahead to 38-17 lead by halftime. Eight of Bucknell's 12 made shots in the first half came from 3-point range.
- The Bison continued their hot shooting into the start of the second half, shooting 10-of-13 in the third quarter and a perfect 4-of-4 from deep range.
- Army shot 46.7 percent (7-of-15) in the fourth quarter. Scamman had six points in the final frame, while Stralkus added had four.
