Davis Claims Second Consecutive ECAC Gymnast of the Week Honor

DANBURY, Conn. - For the second week in a row, sophomore Mathew Davis has been selected as the ECAC Gymnast of the WeekÂ
The sophomore claimed his second consecutive all-around victory as the Black Knights defeated Springfield for their first win of the 2020 season. Davis won three individual apparatuses, posting the top overall score on floor exercise, still rings and horizontal bar. His 13.900 score on the high bar was the best of his career.Â
The award is the third such honor of Davis' two-year career at Army.Â
The Black Knights will take on rival Navy in Annapolis on Saturday in the Army-Navy Star Meet.Â
