Women’s Tennis Falls to Rutgers, 6-1

EAST BRUNSWICK, N.J. – Army women's tennis (1-2) fell to Rutgers, 6-1, in Friday's match at the East Brunswick Racquet Club.

In doubles action, Rutgers took the No. 2 and No. 3 bouts to clinch the doubles point. Army did win the No. 1 doubles matchup. Stephanie Dolehide and Caroline Vincent squeaked out a 5-4 win over Sydney Jones and Kristina Zahare.

In singles action, the Scarlet Knights took the No. 5, 3 and 6 bouts to clinch the match. Dolehide continued her strong day for the Black Knights, as she rallied to earn a 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 win the No. 2 bout over Maya Jacobs.
