First Scrimmage of Fall Camp in the Books

WEST POINT, N.Y. -Â The Army West Point football team got to take a break from the practice field for its first scrimmage of fall camp.Â
Highlights from the day were rookie Izzy Akojie recording a forced fumble and recovery as well as an interception. Maurice Bellan, Kevin Hamilton, Jemel Jones Jr., and Steven Migut all found their way into the end zone during the scrimmage as well. Special teams was also strong Saturday as freshman Cole Talley and Andrew Bagley converted on a field goal and multiple PATs, respectively.Â
Army has Sunday off from practice but will resume things again on Monday at 2:50 p.m.Â
