CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - The Patriot League announced its All-League honors Friday, with Army West Point men's tennis getting one player each on the first and second teams.
Junior Myles Conlin earned a spot on the First Team for the second straight season and Freshman Diego Huttepain on the Second Team.
"Myles had a great year, playing very good tennis at No. 1," said Head Coach, Jim Poling. "He had some very good, tough matches down the stretch that will only improve his game going into his senior year."
Conlin finished the spring season with an 11-9 singles record, with all matches being played at the No. 1 position. The Alameda, Calif. native was 4-1 versus PL opponents this season, and finished the year winning five of his last six finished matches.
Huttepain finished his first collegiate season with a 10-11 singles record overall -- 4-2 against league opponents.
"Diego really improved as a plebe, and we're expecting good things out of him going him going forward," added Poling. "He was apart of a big freshman class that all made big strides as the season went on."
Army finished the 2019 spring season 14-14 overall and 6-1 in Patriot League play. The Black Knights made it to the Conference Tournament final, falling to champion Navy, 4-3.
