Hovren Takes Home Player of the Week Honors

WEST POINT, N.Y. - Senior Madison Hovren was named Patriot League Player of the Week on Monday after a pair of double-doubles last week against Colgate and Boston University.Â
Hovren produced double-doubles last week versus Colgate (35 points, 14 rebounds) and Boston University (23 points, 11 boards). Her 35-point performance against the Raiders tied her career-high in scoring and was her third 30+ point performance this season. The senior currently leads the Patriot League in points (19.0) and rebounds per game (12.9).
She has scored in double digits in 23-straight games heading into the regular-season finale at Bucknell. The 35 points were the third time this season she has scored over 30 points and she has 54 career double-doubles and 21 in 2018-19.Â
The Black Knights are headed to Bucknell for a Wednesday night matchup with the Bison, which is set for a 6 p.m. start time.Â
Army is hosting a first round game in the Patriot League Tournament on Saturday, March 9, at 1 p.m. and tickets are now available. The opponent has yet to be determined, but the Army West Point Ticket Office have tickets on sale right now.
Tickets are set at $8 with seniors and youth tickets at $4. Fans can purchase online or by calling 1-877-TIX-ARMY.
All courtside season ticket holders will have an exclusive resale window to buy their season seats until Tuesday at 5 p.m. before they will be open to the public. These season ticket holders can call 877-849-2769 to purchase on Monday and Tuesday.
