ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Army West Point gymnastics team ranked fourth after the first day of College Nationals with a 383.200 score.Â

Three Cadets advanced to Saturday's individual finals. Mathew Davis qualified on floor exercise and still rings, while Casanova and Erik Del Cid will represent Army on vault.Â

- Casanova was the Black Knights' top all-around competitor with an 77.400.Â
- The Black Knights posted their fourth-best vault score of the season with a team 69.650.Â
- Davis was the Cadets' leader on floor exercise (13.950) and still rings (13.300).Â
- Casanova notched a 14.200 on vault, a team best.Â
- Matthew Martin had a team-best 12.400 on pommel.Â
- Leading the squad on parallel bars was Casanova, Davis and Elijah-Ty Phelps. All three competitors had a 12.450.Â
- On high bar, Rex Scott and Casanova each earned 12.400 pacing Army on the apparatus.Â
COMPETITION
- Davis led the way on floor exercise (13.950) and was followed by Del Cid (13.500) and Casanova (13.400).Â
- On vault, Martin ranked first among Army competitors with a 12.400 as Brandon Shively (12.300) and Scott (12.300) were close behind.Â
- Davis was the Black Knights' top scorer on still rings with a 13.300 score.Â
- Casanova garnered marks of 12.750 and Elliott Herman had a 12.650.Â
- Vault featured Casanova (14.200) and Del Cid (14.150) with the top scores.Â
- Three Cadets tied with a 12.450 on parallel bars. Casanova, Davis and Phelps each registered marks of 12.450.Â
- Rex and Casanova posted 12.400 on high bar to lead the way for Army. Taka Giese followed suit with a 12.300.Â
