WEST POINT, N.Y. - Freshman all-arounder Mathew Davis was tabbed the Eastern College Athletic Conference Gymnast of the Week after his career-high day against Springfield.Â
The Frisco, Texas, native won the meet with a new personal standard of 81.100. He championed the floor exercise (14.150) and still rings (13.750).Â
On vault, Davis captured career-high marks of 14.250. He was third on parallel bars (13.600) to lead Army gymnasts, while ranking third again on high bar at 13.150.Â
The Black Knights compete at William & Mary this Saturday with in a tri-meet. Springfield will also be in attendance for the 1 p.m. meet.Â
