ANNAPOLIS, Md. – After one day of competition at the ECAC Championships, the Army West Point men's swimming and diving team ranks second with 178 points.

Navy leads the 20-team field with 233 points, while Columbia rounds out the top-three with 92 points.

ARMY NOTABLES

Army opened up competition with a first-place finish in the 200 free relay after Josh Zock, Billy Webber, Sean Paul Stolarski and Sean Martin posted a time of 1:20.93.
The 500 free was highlighted by Tom Ottman's first-place time of 4:21.25.
In the 200 IM, Ty Dang scored for the Black Knights by finishing in fourth at 1:51.68.
Fresh off his Patriot League win in the 50 free, Zock posted a time of 20.59 and took fourth in the event, while Stolarski followed in fifth at 20.70.
The 400 medley relay squad of Kevin Doo, Brady Almand, Ty Dang and Webber placed second after posting a time of 3:20.59.

"It was a great day here at the ECAC Championships," head coach Mickey Wender said. "We're racing hard against some great competition. It's going to be a great weekend of racing."
