WARD'S WORDS
- Head coach Kevin Ward – "I think we can take a lot away from our matches today. It liked to me like we thought we were a little outclassed in a few matches, and we got ourselves in some trouble that we couldn't dig out of. The bottom line is we let some things happen to us in matches that we have to correct. We wrestled a really good team today and got beat.
- "Cael McCormick looked really good and had another strong performance against a ranked opponent, and Ryan Hetrick continues to represent himself well filling in for Trey Chalifoux. We'll take some lessons from this and will be a better team because of it."
UP NEXT
- The Black Knights will wrap up their regular season with the annual Star Meet against service-academy rival Navy on Saturday at 4 p.m. in Christl Arena.
- Prior to the dual, Army will honor its firsties during the senior day ceremony.
