WEST POINT N.Y. -Â For the second week in a row, the Army West Point hockey team is receiving votes in the USCHO.com Coaches Poll.Â
The Black Knights have reached double-digit wins before the winter break for the first time since the 1996-97 season. That team went 10-7-1 before the break.Â
This year Army is 11-5-0 heading into the final series of December. Eric Butte is tied for fifth in the country with three game-winning goals. Trevin Kozlowski ranks 20th in the country for a 2.18 goals against average. The Black Knights' penalty kill is fourth in the NCAA with a .921 efficiency.Â
The Cadets wrap up the first half of the season this weekend on the road at Robert Morris. Saturday's game will begin at 5 p.m., while Sunday's contest is at 1 p.m.
