Hall Named Patriot League Rookie of the Week

WEST POINT, N.Y. – For the second consecutive week a member of the Army West Point women's basketball team was named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week.  After registering double-figures in both of the Black Knights' contests, Kamryn Hall earned the distinction. The award comes on the heels of Sabria Hunter earning the same honor last week.  Â

Hall finished with 13 points against St. Francis Brooklyn on Wednesday. She entered the midway point with no points, before pouring in 13 in the second stanza. Hall shot 6-of-10 from the field and knocked down a 3-pointer.

On Saturday against Columbia, the Sacramento, Calif., native totaled 11 points and corralled a game-high 12 rebounds to secure her first career double-double. Hall surpassed her season total of 3-pointers made entering the contest, shooting a perfect 3-for-3 from beyond-the-arc. She also saw 34 minutes of action against Columbia, a new season high.

The Black Knights return to action Tuesday when it takes on TCU, a semifinalist in last season's WNIT, at 5 p.m.
