Hunter Tabbed Patriot League Rookie of the Week

WEST POINT, N.Y. – After helping lead a second half comeback against service academy foe Air Force, Sabria Hunter, of the Army West Point women's basketball team, was named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week.
With the Black Knights heading into the second half trailing by 17, Hunter scored the first six points to ignite a 9-2 Army run to open the new stanza. The Austintown, Ohio, native registered 13 points in the final two quarters of play, shooting 6-of-8 from the field in that span.
Hunter finished with a team-high 16 points and 10 rebounds, marking her first career double-double. She also registered a game-high two blocks. The rookie has reached double figures in two of her first three career games.
The Black Knights return to action on Wednesday when they take on St. Francis Brooklyn at 7 p.m. in Brooklyn Heights, N.Y.
