EASTON, Pa. —After 110 minutes, the Army West Point women's soccer team ended its mid-week matchup in a tie at Lafayette.

The Black Knights controlled the overtime period with five shots to the Leopards' one.

Sydney Cassalia recorded her fourth shutout of the season and 19th in her career at Army. She moves up to 3rd in all-time program standings where she is tied with Kristine Beardsley ('91) and Mary Kidd ('99).

HOW IT HAPPENED

At the 17th minute of the game, Cassalia made consecutive saves where she punched the ball out of play.
The Leopards were set up on a free kick just outside the box, but the junior goalkeeper denied the opponent on a back-to-bar shot just below the crossbar.
Army had five opportunities in overtime to Lafayette's one.

Army is on a four-game unbeaten streak with a 6-5-4 overall record.
The Black Knights are now 3-2-2 in the Patriot League.
Cassalia finished the game with four saves on seven shots faced.

Overall, Army out shot Lafayette 14-7, but the Leopards held a 6-3 advantage in corner kicks.
