October 15, 2019 | Men's Swimming and Diving
CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – With a pair of victories on the 1-meter and 3-meter boards against UMass, sophomore Daniel Alaimo picked up his second straight Patriot League Diver of the Week honors on Tuesday afternoon.
"I am very proud of Danny," head diving coach Chris Waters said. "He's been working hard, making corrections and it's nice to see him be recognized by the league."
Alaimo bested the Minutemen on the 1-meter after posting a score of 267.38. The West Nyack, N.Y., native also claimed the top spot on the 3-meter with a score of 287.85. It was his highest dual meet mark on the 3-meter during his collegiate career.
Alaimo and the Black Knights will return to action on Nov. 2 when they take on UConn in a road dual scheduled to start at 1 p.m. in Storrs, Conn.
