Black Knights Fall to Cal in Weekend Finale

BERKELEY, CALIF.- The No. 11 ranked Army West Point men's rugby team dropped a 41-50 decision to the No. 4 Cal Golden Bears Sunday afternoon at Witter Field.
The Black Knights overcame a 17 point deficit in the first half, cutting the Golden Bears' lead to only two points shortly before heading into the second. Army then took their first lead of the game in the 47th minute, but were unable to hold on as Cal posted three consecutive tries.Â
The Cadets now fall to 8-3 overall in 15s play, while Cal improves to 16-1 on the season.
