Army Finishes First on Day One of Ben Brown Invite

WEST POINT, NY – The Army West Point men's track and field team completed day one of the Ben Brown Invitational in Fullerton, Calif.
Army ends the day in first place with 22 points, 10 points ahead of second place Cal St. Fullerton.

- Wyatt Doughty placed fifth in the hammer throw with a distance of 61.23m. Jacob Stauffer followed in tenth with a distance of 50.53m. Michael Renard (41.44m) placed 18th and Geoff Kirk (40.83m) took 19th.
- Army finished 1-4 in the javelin throw. August Cook won with a distance pf 63.68m. Jack O'Brien took the number two spot, throwing for 62.07m. Grayson Hill (61.80m) finished third while Michael Gabrielsen (60.39m) claimed fourth.
