WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point wrestling team crowned three champions en route to a team title at the Black Knight Invite on Sunday at Christl Arena.

Juniors Trey Chalifoux (125 lbs.), Ben Harvey (174 lbs.) and Alex Hopkins (197 lbs.) all won individual titles at the team's first home event of the season. Hopkins, rookie Corey Shie (141 lbs.) and sophomore Bennett Paulson (197 lbs.) all boasted a team-high four wins on the day.

ARMY HIGHLIGHTS AND GAME NOTES

The Black Knights combined to go 38-22 in the tournament with 19 bonus point wins, including seven falls, four technical falls and eight major decisions.
Chalifoux earned his third-career tournament title and first outside of the All-Academy Championships.
Harvey won his second-career individual crown and first since the 2016 Southeast Open.
Hopkins garnered the second title of his career and first since the Bob Quade Cyclone Open last season.
