Army Defeats AIC in Home Opener

West Point, N.Y.- The Army West Point women's rugby team downed AIC, 76-20, in their home opener Friday afternoon at the Anderson Rugby Complex.

Army now improves to 1-1 in 15s play, while the Yellow jackets start their season 0-1.

GAME NOTES

Today's offensive outbreak was Army's second-highest point total in program history and most since putting up 119 against Northeastern on Oct. 5, 2014.
Senior Rebecca Stipp and sophomore Gio Ferguson-Lewis posted a game-high three tries.
All-American Bayleigh Gable had a record performance, setting personal bests with 21 points and eight conversions.
Senior Sydney Hawkins documented two tries in the match.
Juniors Lexi Leach and Zye Crittington, along with sophomore Sam Sullivan earned their first tries of the 15s season.
