Late Penalty Kick Lifts Army Over Norwich

NORTHFIELD, Vt.-The Army West Point women's rugby team overcame a 15-point deficit to defeat the Norwich Cadets 32-29 in a second-half thriller Saturday afternoon in Northfield, Vt.
Army improved to 2-2-1 in NIRA play, while Norwich dropped to 2-0-2.
GAME NOTES
- Sophomore Sam Sullivan propelled the Black Knights' offensive run after she posted their first try, cutting the deficit to 10.
- Junior Dameria Morton and Sophomore Sally Varner both posted one try each in the second half of the game.
- Freshman Abrianna Williams documented the final try, which was good to tie Norwich at 29.
- Freshman Eleanor Burnett was able to complete a penalty kick in the final minutes of the game, lifting the Black Knights to their first road victory of the season.
