December 19, 2017 | Football
FORT WORTH, Texas - The Army West Point football team arrived in Fort Worth on Tuesday afternoon and practiced for the first time down in Texas for the first time before the Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl.
The Black Knights practiced at Wildcat Stadium on the campus of Kennedale High School. It wasn't a comfortable afternoon as the team played through some rain, but was able to get out there to get ready for San Diego State on Saturday.
Army focused on special teams for the first portion of practice and then broke into individual and team drills for the final hour.
The Black Knight have two more practices and then a walk through on Friday before the game on Saturday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. Central on ESPN.
